Your Right to Delete Your Data

At Jobul, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal information. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time. This page explains how you can delete your data through our app or by email.

Important: Once you request data deletion, your account will be permanently deactivated, and all your personal information will be removed from our systems within 30 days. Some information may be retained for legal purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Choose Your Deletion Method

You can delete your data using either of the following methods:

Delete from App

The quickest way to delete your data is directly through the Jobul app. Follow the simple steps below to permanently remove your account.

Method 1: Delete Directly from the App

Follow these simple steps to delete your account and all associated data directly from the Jobul app:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Open the Jobul app on your Android device
  2. Tap on your Profile icon in the top profile icon
  3. Select Dashboard from the menu options
  4. Tap on Privacy & Security
  5. Scroll down and select Delete Account
  6. Read the information about data deletion carefully
  7. Tap Ok
What happens next: Your account will be immediately permanently deleted.

Method 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you prefer not to use the in-app deletion option or are unable to access your account, you can request data deletion by email.

Email Template

Send an email to support@getjobul.com with the following information:

Email Request Process:

  1. Copy the email template above and fill in your details
  2. Send the email to support@getjobul.com
  3. You will receive an automated confirmation that we received your request
  4. Our support team will verify your identity within 48 hours
  5. Once verified, we will process your deletion request
  6. You will receive a final confirmation email when your data has been deleted
Processing Time: Email requests are typically processed within 3-5 business days. You will receive email updates at each stage of the process.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:

✓ Deleted:

  • Profile information (name, photo, bio)
  • Email address and phone number
  • Resume/CV and work history
  • Job applications and history
  • Saved jobs and search preferences
  • Notification settings
  • App usage data and analytics

✗ Retained (for legal purposes):

  • Record of deletion request
  • Information required by law
  • Data needed for fraud prevention
  • Anonymized analytics (no personal identifiers)

Note: Some information may be retained in our backups for a limited time before being completely erased. All retained data is protected and used only as required by law.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I recover my account after deletion?

No, account deletion is permanent. Once you confirm deletion, your account cannot be recovered. You would need to create a new account if you wish to use Jobul again.

What happens to my job applications?

All your job applications will be permanently removed. Employers will no longer have access to your application materials through Jobul.

How long does it take to completely delete my data?

Your account is deleted immediately when requested directly from app, when emailed it might take 3-5 business days.
